Our team worked with the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) to create a winning proposal to the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) for its first ever “Inspire! Grants for Small Museums initiative.” PAS’s interactive museum, Rhythm! Discovery Center, will inventory, assess, catalog, and digitize archival materials relating to notable 20th century percussion composers. Learn more here…
“Working with Sara Landrum has absolutely been one of the best decisions that ArtMix has made! With Sara, we get a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and strategic grant writer who helps us craft compelling messages that are useful for applications as well as marketing and general communications. Knowing that Sara is keeping track of deadlines and reports is invaluable, particularly for an organization with a small staff. One of the things I love most about Sara is how she talks about “us” rather than ‘you’.”
-Gayle Holtman, President and CEO, ArtMix

“I’m a big proponent of partner relationships instead of vendor/client. In working with Sara Landrum’s company, it didn’t take long to see she works in the same way. Sara’s work has been transformational for us and she has served as a guidepost for us on uprighting a small non-profit. Our ability to secure grants has significantly increased by partnering with Sara. I appreciate her patience with us as a small organization — we are tugged in different ways, but we always hit the deadline. She keeps us organized and focused.“

Since the farm’s inception in 2011, SFL Consulting has helped them obtain more than $500,000 in grant funds, including the highly competitive $100,000 award from Impact 100. Learn more here…
“I have worked with Sara since 2009. I am extremely confident in her ongoing work ethic — her honesty, reliability and timeliness. Sara’s grant writing is spot on, the questions she asks of the staff for input are direct, and she continually develops her written dialogue to address current issues, needs, and demands. Sara is an integral part of Dance Kaleidoscope.”
-Jan Virgin, Executive Director, Dance Kaleidoscope
